Iranian Retaliation After Latest Clash In The Strait Of Hormuz Could Be ‘Dicey’

“Trump is very hesitant to provide the Iranians with any sort of concessions, we’ve seen that throughout the last several months of negotiations.” Washington has defended its latest strikes as an act of emergency “self-defense,” but continuing back-channel negotiations indicate that “both sides want to move on from this incident,” says fellow at the foreign policy think tank Defense Priorities Daniel DePetris.
