Everyone in DC is watching the war—and the betting markets

“Militarily speaking, nobody is really doubting the fact that we can blow up a lot of Iranian military targets and decapitate a lot of their leadership,” says Daniel DePetris, a fellow at Defense Priorities, the Washington-based think tank. “But is this military strategy connected to a core set of goals that are easily explained to the American people and that are achievable or realistic?”
